Biolitec AG has developed a green laser having a wavelength of 532 nm for skin lesions. This wavelength has a high absorption in haemoglobin and melanin, and a low absorption in water. Exactly this absorption characteristics are highly demanded in areas like the selective deletion of haemangioma, spider veins and neo vascularizations.
